SCH Adds Speech Therapy Services   


 Stanton County Hospital is pleased to announce that Libby Lewis-Vernon, SLP, will be joining our Rehabilitation Services Team on May 12, 2014. 

Libby will be available full-time to evaluate and diagnose speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders and treat such disorders in individuals of all ages.  She has experience treating patients with Parkinson's Disease, aphasia, dysarthria, Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), vocal fold dysfunction, voice disorders, stroke, and dysphagia.  She has also worked with children in the areas of articulation, receptive and expressive language, vocabulary, social aspects of language, Down's Syndrome, William's Syndrome, Picture Exchange Communication Systems (PECS), and fluency.

Libby is originally from Syracuse, Kansas, and received her Masters of Science degree from Kansas State University.  She is licensed in Colorado and Kansas, and is certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.  To schedule an appointment, call (620) 492-1410.
